Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have agreed to launch new initiatives to enhance their energy partnership. They welcomed agreements between Indian and UAE companies to boost cooperation in strategic petroleum reserves and gas reserves in India. Additionally, UAE entities have announced investments totaling USD 5 billion in India, highlighting their commitment to India’s growth.
The agreements signed during PM Modi’s visit include partnerships in ship repair and setting up a Super Compute Cluster. Furthermore, the operationalization of a Virtual Trade Corridor using MAITRI aims to streamline cargo movement and enhance trade efficiency between the two countries. The leaders also discussed strengthening their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership across various sectors.
