Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior Union Ministers updated their social media profile pictures to commemorate the anniversary of Operation Sindoor. This move was to honor the courage and legacy of the military operation. The tribute was led by the Prime Minister, who replaced his display picture with a special image related to Operation Sindoor.

Following the Prime Minister’s lead, members of the Union Cabinet also changed their profile pictures to the ‘Operation Sindoor’ tribute. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal all participated in this digital tribute. India is observing the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, a significant military action conducted by the Indian armed forces against terror infrastructures and terrorists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan.

On this day last year, Indian armed forces carried out Operation Sindoor in response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack by Pakistan-backed terrorists. The operation aimed to neutralize high-value terror infrastructures and terrorists responsible for the attack. The Indian Army emphasized that the operation was a resolute and precise response, demonstrating India’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and people.
