PM Modi Urges Citizens to Participate in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged citizens to actively engage in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative ahead of Independence Day. He emphasized the significance of displaying the national flag with pride and honor, commemorating the sacrifices made by freedom fighters for India’s independence. During his monthly radio address ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ PM Modi expressed that August 15 holds immense importance as a day of national pride and gratitude for every Indian.

The Prime Minister highlighted the increasing public involvement in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in recent years, transforming it into a nationwide expression of patriotism. He noted the widespread presence of the national flag in households and neighborhoods across the country, symbolizing unity and reverence. PM Modi urged continued enthusiasm for the initiative, stressing the importance of displaying the Tricolour with utmost respect.

In addition, PM Modi invited citizens to contribute their ideas and suggestions for the nation’s progress leading up to Independence Day through the MyGov platform. He expressed eagerness to receive diverse perspectives from the public annually, fostering a participatory approach to governance. Furthermore, the Prime Minister paid tribute to former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary, acknowledging his dedication to education and inspiring youth to aspire for greatness.

As the nation prepares to celebrate Guru Purnima, PM Modi highlighted the significance of expressing gratitude towards teachers, mentors, and parents who shape lives and guide future generations. He emphasized the pivotal role of educators in nurturing young minds and instilling values. Guru Purnima serves as an occasion to honor and appreciate all mentors for their invaluable contributions to society.
