He stated that the upcoming Assembly election in the state is crucial for safeguarding its identity and land. PM Modi accused the Trinamool Congress of aiming to establish a government that favors illegal infiltrators, posing a threat to the state’s cultural fabric.
PM Modi highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to preserving West Bengal’s cultural heritage. He mentioned that during their tenure, Bengali was recognized as a ‘classical language’ and emphasized the party’s pride in the state’s heritage. The Prime Minister assured that the BJP is dedicated to protecting West Bengal’s cultural legacy at all costs.
During a campaign rally in Jhargram, a tribal-dominated district, PM Modi criticized the luxurious lifestyles of Trinamool Congress leaders amid what he described as darkness engulfing the state. He pledged accountability for corrupt leaders if the BJP assumes power in West Bengal post the Assembly election. PM Modi also lamented the lack of modern educational facilities for tribal communities in West Bengal compared to initiatives in other tribal regions of the country.
