Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual interaction event, “Pariksha Pe Charcha,” is set to air with a renewed emphasis on mental well-being and child-centered learning in its ninth edition. Initially a dialogue between the Prime Minister and students, the program has evolved into a nationwide movement aiming to reshape societal perspectives on exams and academic stress.
The Prime Minister shared an article by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, highlighting the program’s significance as a public movement and its role in transforming India’s education landscape. Union Minister Pradhan emphasized the importance of freeing young minds from fear, aligning with this year’s theme of “Pariksha Pe Charcha.”
With over 4.5 crore registrations, this year’s event has surpassed previous participation records, reflecting a collective commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment for all young minds. The program, which started in 2018, has expanded to involve parents, teachers, and experts from various fields, promoting holistic development and stress-free learning environments.
Union Minister Pradhan praised PM Modi’s empathetic approach towards addressing education, learning, and exam stress, noting the significant impact of the Prime Minister’s engagement with students. The event, titled “Every Child Is Unique… Learns At Her Own Pace,” emphasizes the individuality of each child’s learning journey and talents beyond academic scores.
