Police conducted searches at the homes of all eight accused individuals who were arrested for alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The accused are currently in judicial custody until June 29 and will appear in court on Monday for further proceedings.
Neighbors of one of the accused, Anukalp Mishra, expressed shock over the allegations. They mentioned that Mishra did not seem like someone who would be involved in such activities, highlighting the unpredictability of people’s intentions.
Tinnu Yadav, another accused, was defended by a neighbor who claimed his innocence and stated that he is being falsely implicated. The case involves a total of eight accused, including individuals associated with temple management and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The police are investigating the alleged theft based on CCTV evidence and the interrogation of the accused. Any additional names that surface during the investigation will also face legal action, as authorities aim to uncover the full extent of the incident.
