The political controversy in Bihar over the allocation of government residences has intensified. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) criticized Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary regarding the dispute involving former Chief Minister Rabri Devi’s residence at 10 Circular Road. The RJD raised concerns about the allocation of government bungalows in Bihar during a press conference at the Karpoori Auditorium.
Abdul Bari Siddiqui, the National Principal General Secretary of RJD, along with other party officials, questioned the government’s actions towards Rabri Devi. Siddiqui alleged that the treatment of Rabri Devi was politically motivated and indicated a sense of vendetta. He also raised questions about the expansion of the Chief Minister’s official residence complex over the years.
During the press conference, Siddiqui demanded transparency regarding the criteria for allotting government accommodations. He highlighted discrepancies in the allocation of residences to political figures and called for equal treatment. Siddiqui criticized the government for what he termed as “selective action” and accused them of using administrative measures for political gains.
