Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to join the Somnath Swabhiman Parv on January 11, honoring the endurance of Indian civilization. In a recent blog post, PM Modi highlighted the thousand-year resilience of the Somnath temple, emphasizing its symbolic importance to India’s unbroken spirit. Hindu saints and seers have also praised the temple’s significance in Hinduism and spirituality, emphasizing its enduring legacy.

Mahamandaleshwar Rupendra Prakash from Haridwar expressed admiration for the temple’s resilience, noting its survival through adversities over the centuries. He commended the government’s recognition of the temple as a spiritual heritage and lauded PM Modi’s leadership in preserving and restoring various temples across the country. Shankaracharya Mahesh Ji Maharaj of Kurukshetra echoed similar sentiments, thanking the Prime Minister for facilitating easier access to Hindu shrines and pilgrimage sites.

PM Modi, in his blog post, recounted the historical significance of the Somnath Temple and its resilience against past invasions. He emphasized the temple’s symbolic representation of India’s unwavering civilizational spirit, standing tall despite numerous challenges throughout history.
