Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Noida International Airport on Saturday, a project expected to enhance connectivity and drive economic growth in the National Capital Region (NCR) and neighboring districts. The event will feature a public address by the Prime Minister, emphasizing the airport’s strategic importance.
Several BJP supporters have expressed optimism about the airport and its potential impact on development. A supporter from Bulandshahr mentioned the visible progress in districts surrounding the airport, attributing it to the development initiatives catalyzed by the Jewar Airport.
Another supporter, involved in local industries, anticipates significant changes in Uttar Pradesh and the NCR region, with the arrival of world-class industries and the creation of employment opportunities for around 10,000 locals. The airport, with a 3,900-meter runway and covering 1,334 hectares, is expected to commence domestic operations by late April, facilitating improved connectivity and driving further industrial and infrastructural growth.
Reflecting on the airport’s significance, a BJP supporter highlighted the transformative impact on lifestyle and infrastructure in Gautam Buddha Nagar district and Greater Noida. The inauguration of the Noida International Airport is seen as a historic milestone, not only benefiting the local populace but also residents of neighboring areas and western Uttar Pradesh.
