Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ajmer on Saturday, marking his first visit to Rajasthan this year. During the visit, he will kick off a nationwide vaccination campaign to administer the HPV vaccine to girls aged 9 to 14 years. Additionally, the Prime Minister will unveil and dedicate development projects totaling Rs 16,686 crore to the state, alongside addressing a public gathering at Kayad Vishram Sthali.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, and BJP State President Madan Rathore are expected to attend the rally. The event’s administrative and security arrangements have been finalized. In a significant move for employment, Modi will distribute appointment letters to 21,863 youths across various departments, including posts like Patwaris, Contract Accounting Assistants, Livestock Assistants, Chief Health Officers, and Public Healthcare Nurses.
Moreover, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various projects encompassing urban and rural development, road infrastructure, railways, irrigation, technology, and industrial growth. Notably, out of the total Rs 16,686 crore budget, 34 projects worth Rs 8,554 crore are directly related to state initiatives. Furthermore, he will launch nine National Highway and energy projects worth Rs 8,132 crore from Kayad Rest House, including the Bandikui–Jaipur four-lane Greenfield Expressway and the Delhi–Vadodara Greenfield Expressway.
This visit is viewed as a significant milestone for Rajasthan, emphasizing healthcare, employment opportunities, and extensive infrastructure expansion.
