Two drivers, one from a private travels bus and the other from a truck, lost their lives in Telangana’s Nalgonda district during a dispute following a near-collision incident. The fatal accident occurred near Narketpally on Tuesday when the drivers engaged in a heated argument after their vehicles nearly collided. Tragically, they were crushed to death between two trucks during the altercation.

The clash resulted from a minor collision when the travels bus brushed against the truck while overtaking, escalating into a fatal confrontation. Apart from the fatalities, two others sustained injuries in the incident and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The deceased individuals have been identified as Srinivas and Bangaraiah, with the police initiating an investigation into the matter.

In a separate tragic incident in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, a woman and her two sons met with a fatal accident when their auto-rickshaw was struck by a speeding DCM van. The unfortunate event occurred near Vadaparti village in Bhuvanagiri mandal on Monday night, claiming the lives of D. Ketamma (56), Naresh (35), and Suresh (28). Ketamma and her sons were returning from Bhuvanagiri to their village BN Timmapur after purchasing goods for their family-run kirana shop.

Ketamma’s sons, Suresh and Naresh, tragically lost their lives on the spot due to the impact of the collision, while Ketamma succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital. Suresh, a contract driver in the Road Transport Corporation (RTC), was also driving an autorickshaw to support the family when not on duty, while Naresh, who was epileptic, primarily stayed at home. The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
