Thrilled with the direction of the upcoming police drama ‘Sirai’ by Suresh Rajakumari, producer S S Lalit Kumar has surprised the director with a new car even before the movie’s release. The film, set to premiere on December 25, has garnered praise from critics and industry insiders who attended special screenings. Starring Vikram Prabhu and L K Akshay Kumar, the movie received accolades during pre-release events.
Ace director Vetrimaaran, who mentored Suresh Rajakumari, presented the car key to the director’s mother at a pre-release function organized by the film’s producers. The trailer of ‘Sirai’ introduces Vikram Prabhu as a cop tasked with escorting a prisoner, played by newcomer L K Akshay, to court. As the story unfolds, the prisoner escapes, posing a challenge for the police team.
Inspired by real-life events, the film’s storyline is credited to director Tamizh, known for ‘Taanakaran.’ Suresh Rajakumari, a protege of Vetrimaran, has helmed the project. Notable actors like Vikram Prabhu and Anantha feature in the film, alongside debutant L K Akshay Kumar. The movie, backed by producer SS Lalit Kumar, boasts a high-quality technical crew and a compelling narrative.
