Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon criticized the AAP government for protecting its two Ministers involved in paper leaks and cheating scandals, accusing them of promoting corruption. He highlighted the contrast with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who resigned over moral accountability. Dhillon demanded immediate resignations from Punjab’s Health Minister Balbir Singh and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains in light of the incidents.
Referring to the Faridkot pharmacy exam cheating scandal, Dhillon emphasized the compromised futures of numerous students and stressed that the government cannot evade responsibility by merely punishing facilitators. He also criticized the AAP government for allegedly jeopardizing Punjab’s youth and recruitment processes. Dhillon accused the AAP of increasing corruption, paper leaks, and recruitment scams, calling for accountability from the state government.
In the context of the Group-B paper leak case in Bathinda, Dhillon expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in the investigation after six months. He pointed out the discrepancy between the AAP’s claim of honest politics and what he described as “extreme dishonesty” in practice. The youth of Punjab, according to Dhillon, are now demanding answers from the state government.
