Senior Punjab BJP leader Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the party’s significant victory in the recent Assembly elections held in key states. Sodhi described the election results as a clear mandate reflecting the public’s trust in strong leadership, effective governance, and a vision focused on development.
He emphasized that the resounding victory, particularly in West Bengal and Assam, showcases India’s desire for stability, growth, and decisive governance under Modi and Shah’s leadership. Sodhi highlighted the BJP’s exceptional performance in West Bengal, surpassing 200 seats, as a testament to the people’s confidence in Modi’s leadership and the party’s organizational strength.
State BJP Chief Sunil Jakhar attributed the party’s success in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry to Modi’s dynamic leadership, supported by party President Nitin Nabin and Amit Shah. Jakhar expressed optimism for a similar outcome in Punjab’s upcoming elections in 2027, commending the dedication of party workers and their commitment to inclusive development.
Jakhar also lauded the BJP’s efforts in West Bengal, where they overcame challenges from the ruling party to establish a government focused on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” The victories in various states were celebrated as a testament to the party’s grassroots connections and commitment to performance and transparency.
