The Chief Minister emphasized that improved global air connectivity from Mohali would facilitate the movement of entrepreneurs, traders, and industrialists, thereby enhancing trade, commerce, and economic activities in the region. He envisioned that increased flights from the airport would not only benefit the local population but also attract global entrepreneurs to invest significantly in Punjab, fostering industrialization and positioning the state as a preferred investment destination.
CHIAL management extended appreciation to the Chief Minister and the government for their guidance and support, which have been instrumental in the airport’s progress and operational efficiency. The dividend for 2025-26 was announced by the CHIAL board on December 12, 2025.
