Punjab Congress President, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, praised the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as a triumph for the nation’s youth against a corrupt government. Warring emphasized the need for Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains to also step down due to repeated paper leaks in Punjab.
Warring affirmed that the battle would continue in Punjab, with the Congress holding both the state Minister and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann accountable for the paper leaks. He commended Rahul Gandhi for leading the charge against the authoritarian government, highlighting the significance of Gandhi’s protest march at the Prime Minister’s residence.
In response to Pradhan’s resignation, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed that the youth of the country cannot be silenced. She reflected on the impact of the RSS on the education system and the suppression of dissenting voices, expressing satisfaction that the youth have raised their voices against such actions.
