Punjab Congress President Amrinder Singh Raja Warring criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for meeting President Droupadi Murmu, questioning the purpose behind it. Warring accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of political hypocrisy and deviating from its core values. He emphasized that such meetings would not change the ground realities in Punjab, suggesting they were a cover-up for the government’s failures.
Warring alleged that the ruling party was engaging in diversionary tactics while also attacking political rivals. He pointed out instances of leaders from various parties, including Taran Taran and Jalandhar, joining AAP, questioning the party’s commitment to clean politics. According to Warring, the AAP government was favoring a select group of industrialists over the common people, leading to discontent among the public.
The Congress leader criticized AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, raising concerns about his political integrity. Warring highlighted the resources allocated to Chadha by the party and warned of long-term consequences for recent political decisions. He stressed that these actions had cast doubts on credibility, particularly among the youth, impacting the party’s public trust.
