Raghav Chadha, an AAP Rajya Sabha member, took to Instagram to showcase his parliamentary efforts, addressing various public policy issues. In a video, he highlighted concerns like data expiry, paternity leave rights, and banking penalties. Chadha also discussed topics such as food adulteration, call charges, taxation, and airline baggage fees.
The video further delved into systemic challenges like paper leaks, air pollution, gig worker exploitation, and health insurance delays. Chadha’s interventions covered a wide range, including digital copyright, GST reforms, and tax relief for specific groups. He also touched on inflation, rural banking, water scarcity, and education-employment gaps.
Amid speculation about his AAP position, Chadha faced attention for a supporter’s suggestion of forming a youth-centric political party. Recent party changes saw Ashok Mittal replacing Chadha as the Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha. Despite these shifts, Chadha expressed resilience, stating he had been “silenced, not defeated.”
