Actor Rahman is set to star in a new film directed by Bharathi Balakumaran, based on a true incident from the 1980s in southern Tamil Nadu. The movie, tentatively named Production Number 4, will begin shooting soon. Rahman will portray a Zamindar character facing supernatural events in a story filled with mystery and suspense.
The film, produced by Komala and Hari Bhaskaran under Komala Hari Pictures, promises a grand cinematic experience. The plot, inspired by real-life supernatural occurrences in the 1980s, is described as intense and captivating. Bharathi Balakumaran, known for ‘Vizha,’ is both the writer and director of this intriguing project.
Apart from Rahman, the film features actor Vishva in a significant role, alongside a talented ensemble cast. The shooting is scheduled to start on May 22, with plans for extensive filming, including scenes in Chennai. The technical team includes Banu Murugan handling cinematography and Kalaivanan in charge of editing. Pragatheeswaran will oversee Art Direction, and stunts will be managed by Dinesh.
