Born on January 1, 1932, in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, Mohsina Kidwai began her political journey at a young age, eventually becoming a prominent figure in national politics. She represented the Meerut constituency in the Lok Sabha and later served as a Member of the Rajya Sabha from Chhattisgarh. Kidwai was known for her role in the Congress Working Committee and as the General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, where she mentored young leaders and contributed to strategic decisions. Her memoir, ‘My Life in Indian Politics,’ reflects her extensive experience in public service. Kidwai, survived by her three daughters, was married to Khalil R. Kidwai.
