Having started his acting career after training at the National School of Drama (NSD), Raj Babbar made his film debut in 1977 with “Kissa Kursi Ka,” a political satire. Over the years, he has been part of various notable projects, including films like “Nikaah,” “Aaj Ki Aawaz,” “Ghayal,” “Prem Geet,” and “Dehleez.” Transitioning into politics, Babbar joined the Janata Dal in 1989 before affiliating with the Indian National Congress in 2008.
