Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, has been granted bail by a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Mumbai in connection with the Rs 150 crore Bitcoin scam case. The court has required Kundra to provide a surety of 1 lakh rupees and seek prior permission for international travel.
Following his bail, Kundra engaged with the media and expressed his faith in the judiciary when questioned. He also hinted at unveiling the masks of others, referencing his decision to stop wearing a mask in public appearances.
Previously, Kundra and businessman Rajesh Satija were summoned by the special PMLA court due to suspected involvement in money laundering activities. Kundra’s legal representative mentioned his intention to approach the High Court to challenge the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra married in 2009 and have two children together. Kundra, known for his ventures in acting, has appeared in projects like “UT69” and reality show “The Traitors.” His latest work includes the Punjabi drama “Meher,” alongside Geeta Basra.
