Reacting to the Union Budget, Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore praised the budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as a concrete, visionary roadmap towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of “Developed India @2047.” Rathore described the budget as a historic step towards making India self-reliant, empowered, and a global leader.
He emphasized that the budget prioritizes the true spirit of nation-building over populist announcements and integrates infrastructure development, employment generation, industrial expansion, technological innovation, and rural prosperity in a holistic approach. Rathore stated that the budget lays a strong foundation for sustainable and balanced development, benefiting both present and future generations.
In a time of global economic challenges like trade wars and supply chain disruptions, Rathore commended the Modi government for presenting a budget marked by restraint, balance, and confidence. He highlighted the government’s ability to convert challenges into opportunities while maintaining economic stability.
Rathore also pointed out the budget’s focus on key sectors such as youth, women, farmers, MSMEs, startups, industry, health, education, and innovation. He noted that initiatives like the focus on Artificial Intelligence, the Semiconductor Mission, and renewable energy will contribute to establishing India as a technological superpower.
The modernization of railways, improved connectivity through high-speed and freight corridors, and incentives for MSMEs and industries in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities were also highlighted by Rathore. He mentioned that these measures will boost trade, tourism, industrial investment, and open new avenues for states like Rajasthan.
Emphasizing the importance of startups, skill development, and technical training for youth, Rathore mentioned that agriculture and rural development schemes will bring prosperity to villages. He stated that the budget reinforces the principles of good governance, innovation, and inclusive development and assured that the BJP will work towards the transparent and effective implementation of the budget to benefit all sections of society, especially in Rajasthan.
