Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma criticized former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for his focus on Sachin Pilot in recent comments. Gehlot had accused the BJP of attempting to topple his government through horse-trading. Sharma, during his visit to Bhilwara, interacted with villagers, announced development projects, and addressed Gehlot’s remarks.
Sharma highlighted Gehlot’s close ties with Sachin Pilot, suggesting that many of Gehlot’s statements revolve around Pilot. He viewed this as an internal matter of the Congress party but noted Gehlot’s recurrent targeting of Pilot in public statements. The Chief Minister’s visit included engagements with villagers, where he announced various initiatives for local development and emphasized the importance of rural infrastructure.
During his visit, Sharma inaugurated a Primary Health Centre, a sports stadium, and other projects for the Gram Panchayat. He stressed the significance of village-level development for the progress of the state and the nation. Sharma underscored the effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level, aiming to empower rural communities under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Chief Minister Sharma participated in a night community gathering to engage with the public directly. The event focused on rural development, women’s empowerment, and agricultural issues. Sharma criticized the opposition, highlighting government initiatives for women’s empowerment and transparency in welfare delivery. He credited reforms like the Jan Dhan Yojana and Direct Benefit Transfer system for improving accountability and eliminating corruption.
