Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the tribal village of Chuda in Banswara district, interacting with villagers and addressing their concerns as part of the Gram Vikas Chaupal initiative. He emphasized the government’s commitment to reaching the most marginalized sections of society with development initiatives. Sharma’s visit included discussions on water supply, infrastructure, and local development issues raised by the villagers.
During the visit, the Chief Minister directed the construction of an anicut on the Hiran River to enhance irrigation and drinking water facilities in the area. He also interacted with children at the Maa Bari Centre, encouraging education and discouraging drug addiction. Sharma highlighted the importance of water conservation and sustainable agriculture, urging farmers to adopt modern practices for improved incomes.
Addressing financial irregularities, Sharma took action against the Block Chief Medical Officer and emphasized the integration of animal husbandry with agriculture for economic growth. He approved various local development projects, including the construction of a Maa Bari Centre and a tubewell, along with beautification work in the village. The Chief Minister also facilitated the transfer of an Assistant Engineer to address medical needs for a child.
In a symbolic gesture, Sharma paid tribute at the statue of Saint Mama Baleshwar Dayal, accompanied by several ministers and local representatives, concluding his visit to the village.
