Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on July 4 to inaugurate the Pachpadra Refinery, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma praised the project as a significant development that will boost the state’s economy and drive industrial growth. Sharma, during a recent inspection of the refinery site, expressed confidence in the project’s potential to bring prosperity to Rajasthan by transforming its economic landscape. He emphasized the refinery’s role as a catalyst for economic progress and development in the region.
The Chief Minister, referring to the refinery as a “game changer” for Rajasthan, highlighted its capacity to revolutionize the state’s economic scenario and accelerate overall development. In preparation for the Prime Minister’s visit, Sharma conducted a detailed review of the refinery premises and held discussions with officials from HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) and the district administration. The focus was on ensuring operational readiness, security measures, logistical arrangements, and preparations for the inauguration ceremony.
During his visit to the refinery helipad, Sharma was greeted by Minister-in-Charge Joraram Kumawat, Minister K.K. Bishnoi, and other officials. Addressing the media, the Chief Minister expressed optimism about the transformative impact of the refinery, stating that Prime Minister Modi’s visit signifies a historic moment for Western Rajasthan. He credited the Prime Minister’s leadership for driving significant development initiatives across the country, including infrastructure projects that have benefited Rajasthan.
Sharma underscored the rapid progress witnessed in Rajasthan under the current government, attributing it to the collective efforts towards development and growth. He concluded his visit by seeking blessings at the Sambhara Ashapura Mata Temple for the successful commissioning of the refinery and the prosperity of Rajasthan. Originally scheduled for April 21, the refinery’s inauguration was postponed due to a technical issue, but with the challenges resolved, it is now set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi on July 4.
Officials from HRRL and the district administration are working diligently to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for the inauguration ceremony. The Chief Minister’s thorough review is seen as a crucial step in ensuring the smooth execution of this significant industrial event, with expectations high for the Pachpadra Refinery to drive investment, employment opportunities, and economic growth in Rajasthan.
