Chief Minister Sharma highlighted the ecological and tourism potential of the Neendad forest region and revealed plans for its development through extensive afforestation and eco-tourism projects. He mentioned ongoing efforts to build anicuts and water-harvesting structures in suitable locations for effective rainwater conservation.
Referring to national initiatives, the Chief Minister mentioned the promotion of plantation drives inspired by the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, aiming to plant 100 million saplings this year. He also discussed programs like ‘Hariyalo Rajasthan’ and ‘Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan’ that aim to enhance community involvement in environmental and water conservation endeavors. Additionally, he instructed officials to create eco-friendly public facilities in the Neendad forest area, including a walking track for visitors.
