Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma led a high-level meeting at his residence to evaluate the status of the Pachpadra Refinery-cum-Petrochemical Complex. The review aimed to ensure timely completion for the upcoming inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sharma, during the meeting, received updates from senior officials and HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) management on the refinery’s operations, current activities, and future plans. He emphasized the significance of meticulous planning and collaboration to make the refinery’s inauguration a historic event.
The Chief Minister highlighted the Pachpadra Refinery’s importance in bolstering the nation’s energy security and driving economic growth in Rajasthan. The HRRL management showcased product samples and a project journey booklet, underscoring the progress made in refinery operations.
HRRL officials informed Sharma that several units of the refinery are operational, with production of petroleum and petrochemical products already underway. They praised the Chief Minister’s oversight and support, crediting the close coordination between HRRL and the state government for expediting the project’s advancement.
The proactive approach of the state government and the Chief Minister’s guidance were acknowledged as key factors in the refinery’s swift progress towards operational readiness. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Additional Chief Secretary Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary Aparna Arora, Principal Secretary Vaibhav Galriya, senior HRRL officials, and other relevant officers.
