Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas led a high-level meeting at the Secretariat to evaluate the distribution of petrol, diesel, and LPG in the state. He confirmed ample stocks of these fuels were available and urged the public not to panic buy. The Chief Secretary emphasized that the fuel supply situation was well managed and that regular deliveries were ongoing through the national pipeline network.
To maintain transparency, V. Srinivas instructed oil and gas companies in Rajasthan to provide daily data on fuel availability by district. This measure aims to prevent misinformation and any potential shortages. Additionally, he directed authorities to monitor the bulk sale of fuel in drums closely to prevent illegal activities and supply chain leakages. The administration is closely monitoring the situation to ensure smooth operations.
Ambrish Kumar, Secretary of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, highlighted ongoing efforts to combat illegal sales and black marketing of fuel in the state. Representatives from major oil companies and fuel suppliers, as well as officials from relevant departments, participated in the meeting to coordinate these efforts.
