Rajasthan witnessed a notable increase in funds from the Centre in the financial year 2025-26, credited to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s proactive coordination and successful scheme implementation, as per an official statement from the Chief Minister’s Public Relations Cell.
The state received a total of Rs 1,20,369 crore through various schemes including the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASKI), Finance Commission grants, and central tax shares, marking the highest amount received in a single year compared to the previous government’s term.
In March alone, approximately Rs 19,000 crore was disbursed, signifying a substantial fund influx towards the end of the fiscal year.
Under the SASKI scheme, offering interest-free state loans for capital spending, Rajasthan obtained Rs 10,548 crore in 2025-26, a significant increase from the Rs 7,290 crore received between 2020-21 and 2022-23.
Funds channeled through the SNA-SPARSH platform for centrally sponsored schemes amounted to Rs 13,658 crore, while Finance Commission recommendations and other grants contributed Rs 15,666 crore to the state.
For the health sector, Rajasthan received over Rs 2,693 crore under the 15th Finance Commission, the highest in the last five years compared to the previous government’s allocation of ₹833 crore in the preceding three years.
