The highly-anticipated thriller ‘Patriot’, directed by Mahesh Narayanan and starring Malayalam cinema icons Mammootty and Mohanlal, has seen director Rajeev Menon finish dubbing for his role. The film’s official social media handles shared the news, adding another powerful voice to the project. Rajeev Menon’s dubbing process was showcased in a video clip released by the makers.
The team behind ‘Patriot’ had previously confirmed the completion of dubbing by both Mammootty and Mohanlal for their respective parts in the movie. Recently, a Behind The Scenes (BTS) video was unveiled, offering glimpses of the filming process in Sri Lanka. Actor Mohanlal had shared the BTS video on social media, hinting at the film’s global release on April 23, 2026.
In the BTS footage, scenes from an airbase featuring Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Fahaadh Faasil were highlighted. Notably, Fahadh Faasil revealed his role as the antagonist in the film. ‘Patriot’ is set to hit screens worldwide on April 23 this year, following the completion of filming earlier in January. The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Rajeev Menon, and Revathy alongside the two veteran actors.
