Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met with South Korean Minister for Defense Acquisition Programme Administration, Lee Yong-chul in Seoul. They agreed to work together on joint development, production, and exports. Singh highlighted the potential of the KIND-X initiative to enhance innovation ecosystems in both countries.
During his visit, Singh also held talks with South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu Back to strengthen defense cooperation. They focused on deepening ties in defense, defense industry, and strategic collaboration for regional peace and stability. Both countries exchanged agreements to boost defense cyber cooperation and UN peacekeeping efforts.
Additionally, Singh paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the National Cemetery of Korea, emphasizing the enduring inspiration from their sacrifice. He expressed India’s solidarity with South Korea in honoring their heroes. Singh’s official visit aims to bolster defense ties and strategic partnership between India and South Korea.
