CWC member Ramesh Chennithala criticized the Kerala government led by Pinarayi Vijayan, accusing it of engaging in diversionary politics and communal experiments to mask governance failures. Chennithala’s comments came before Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s visit to Thiruvananthapuram for the 93rd Sivagiri Theerthadanam conference at Sivagiri Mutt. He urged Vijayan to focus on Kerala’s issues instead of advising other states, highlighting the absence of “bulldozer raj” in Karnataka. Chennithala also criticized the CPI(M) for trying to gain political advantage from certain issues, emphasizing that such tactics would not succeed.
Chennithala further slammed the Kerala government’s treatment of minority welfare, alleging that the administration had halted benefits for minority communities. He accused the CPI(M) of resorting to communal politics following minority backlash in recent local elections. Chennithala warned that the party’s refusal to accept electoral outcomes could have severe political repercussions, emphasizing the need for acknowledging defeat. He emphasized the people of Kerala’s ability to discern political strategies and criticized the ruling party’s attempts to regain support through divisive tactics.
