Actor Ranbir Kapoor shared exciting news about his upcoming projects in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram. One user mentioned that Nitesh Tiwari’s “Ramayana Part 1” is set to release on Ranbir’s daughter, Raha’s, birthday in November, which he found to be a lovely coincidence. The film “Ramayana” is anticipated to hit theaters during Diwali 2026.
During the Instagram Live event, Ranbir, who is not active on social media, engaged with fans through his lifestyle brand, ARKS’ official account. The session was held to commemorate ARKS’ anniversary. Ranbir also provided updates on his other upcoming projects, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Love & War” featuring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
Ranbir informed fans that the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, initially scheduled for August 2026, might be delayed to later this year or even 2027. He explained that projects like “Ramayana” and “Love & War” require more time due to their grand scale and vision, but he assured fans that the outcome will be worth the wait.
Discussing his other ventures, Ranbir mentioned that filming for Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra 2” is set to commence earlier than planned. Additionally, he revealed that the sequel “Animal Park,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will start production in the middle of next year. Ranbir also praised Ranveer Singh’s recent hit film “Dhurandhar,” expressing his admiration for the entire cast and crew.
