Rapper Offset expressed gratitude for surviving a gunshot injury, calling himself “blessed” to still be able to move after the incident. The 34-year-old rapper was shot in the hip outside a casino in Florida earlier this month. Despite the ordeal, Offset emphasized the importance of perseverance, likening himself to the Energizer Bunny, and stated that he was thankful to still be mobile.
Offset clarified that the shooting only affected his hip and not his private parts. He mentioned being connected to a vitamin I.V. drip during a podcast recording but insisted that he did not want pity from anyone. Offset stressed the need to keep pushing forward and not dwell on setbacks, emphasizing his determination to continue despite the challenges.
Following the shooting, Offset made a swift return to the stage for a performance at the University of Arkansas, just days after the incident. Despite initially appearing in a wheelchair, he later stood up to perform, with his mother later describing him as a “walking miracle.” Offset’s resilience and quick return to performing garnered praise and admiration from fans and supporters.
