Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Sayali Satghare had a remarkable debut, taking three crucial wickets against Delhi Capitals at the DY Patil Stadium. Sayali, following Lauren Bell’s two early wickets, dismissed DC captain Jemimah Rodrigues and all-rounder Marizanne Kapp in quick succession.
In her debut match for RCB, Sayali achieved impressive figures of 3/27. She credited the team’s supportive environment for her success, expressing her joy at playing for the team she has supported since the inception of the IPL in 2008. Sayali highlighted the camaraderie within the young RCB side, emphasizing the players’ unity and shared success.
Despite going unsold at the WPL 2026 auction, Sayali joined RCB after Ellyse Perry’s withdrawal due to personal reasons. With previous appearances for the Indian women’s team in ODI matches, Sayali showcased her bowling prowess, conceding 107 runs and claiming three wickets with an impressive economy rate of 4.65. Her batting skills were evident in the List A One Day Trophy tournament in 2024, where she scored 260 runs in seven matches at an average of 52, including a century off 77 balls.
