Federico Valverde and Rodrygo scored for Real Madrid as they defeated Atletico Madrid 2-1, securing a spot in the Spanish Super Cup final against FC Barcelona. Despite Atletico’s dominance with more shots, Thibaut Courtois’ exceptional saves kept Real Madrid in the lead.

Valverde’s powerful strike early in the game left Atletico’s goalkeeper helpless, while Rodrygo extended Real’s lead with a composed finish. Atletico fought back as Alexander Sorloth’s header narrowed the gap, but Courtois continued to thwart their efforts with crucial saves.

Courtois’ remarkable reflexes denied Atletico multiple scoring opportunities, with Sorloth and Baena testing the goalkeeper. Real Madrid’s solid defense and Courtois’ heroics ensured their victory, setting up a thrilling final against FC Barcelona.
