Three days into the T20 Mumbai League 2026, Suved Parkar’s remarkable 46-ball century led the Bandra Blasters to a formidable total of 228/5, the second-highest in the tournament’s history. However, Ajinkya Rahane’s North Mumbai Panthers clinched a thrilling victory in a Super Over at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Parkar’s sensational batting display of 110 off 54 deliveries included 10 fours and seven sixes.
In response, Hardik Tamore’s explosive 83 off 39 balls and Tanush Kotian’s late-order fireworks helped the Panthers match the Blasters’ score. The match was forced into a decider, showcasing intense competition between the two teams. The Blasters’ strong start with Parkar and Prateekkumar Ravishankar’s 101-run partnership set the stage for a high-scoring game.
Parkar’s century off just 46 balls, supported by a rapid 52-run partnership between Jay Jain and Dhrumil Matkar, propelled the Blasters past the 200-run mark. Despite Parkar’s dismissal, the Blasters maintained a high scoring rate, with contributions from various players. In a nail-biting finish, the Panthers, led by Hardik, managed to equal the Blasters’ total, leading to a Super Over to determine the winner.
The Super Over saw Vaibhav Mali’s crucial contributions with two sixes and a four, helping the Panthers secure a total of 20/1. In response, the Blasters fell short, managing only 7/0. The intense match highlighted the competitive spirit of both teams in the T20 Mumbai League. Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur’s Eagle Thane Strikers are set to face Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburb in their upcoming match.
