Renowned Bollywood designer and filmmaker Manish Malhotra’s mother, Garima Malhotra, passed away at the age of 94. Manish expressed his eternal love for his late mother in a heartfelt social media tribute, sharing a picture of her on Instagram. He wrote, “Love and Miss you Forever (sic)” along with a red heart and folded hands emoji.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher offered his condolences, emphasizing the irreplaceable bond with a mother. Actress Manisha Koirala also extended her sympathies, highlighting the everlasting nature of a mother’s love and praying for strength for Manish during this difficult time. Actress Bhumi Pednekkar simply expressed her condolences.
The last rites of Manish Malhotra’s mother were conducted at the Hindu Crematorium in Santa Cruz West, Mumbai, with the presence of many Bollywood celebrities. Karan Johar, Urmila Matondkar, Rakul Preet Singh, and others were seen leaving the venue after paying their final respects. The designer’s team released an official statement announcing the peaceful passing of Mrs. Sudarshan Malhotra at the age of 94, acknowledging her rich life and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
