Renowned sand artist and Padma awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik honored legendary singer Asha Bhosle with a beautiful sand sculpture at Puri Beach in Odisha. The 20-feet-long Veena sand art installation conveys a heartfelt message, “Tribute to Asha Tai — your voice will live in our hearts forever.” This sculpture symbolizes devotion, music, and respect, capturing Asha Ji’s grace and enduring legacy.
Students from Pattnaik’s sand art institution joined him in crafting this special tribute, adding more significance to the gesture. Asha Bhosle, a celebrated playback singer in India, has enchanted audiences for years with her versatile voice in numerous songs across different languages. Her remarkable contribution has influenced Bollywood music’s golden era and continues to inspire artists globally.
“We have grown up listening to Asha Ji’s songs—her voice will live in our hearts forever,” expressed Pattnaik, echoing the sentiments of millions of fans. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, among others, also mourned the loss of the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. CM Majhi conveyed his deep sorrow through a heartfelt message, highlighting Asha Ji’s timeless voice as an emotion that resonated across generations.
