Bhagyaraj, a legendary director and actor in the Tamil film industry, is survived by his wife Poornima Bhagyaraj, son Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, and daughter Saranya Bhagyaraj.
Sources close to Bhagyaraj revealed that he experienced chest pain early in the morning and was immediately taken to a private hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His sudden demise has deeply saddened the entire Tamil film community, especially coming just 17 days after the loss of his mentor, K Bharathirajaa, another iconic figure in Tamil cinema.
