Ridhima Dilawari finished the second day of the Women’s Professional Golf Tour with a 3-under 69, marked by four consecutive birdies despite closing with a bogey. With a total of 5-under for two rounds, she widened her lead from one shot to four shots over the field. Amateur Zara Anand stands second at 1-under 143 after rounds of 72 and 71.
Jahanvi Bakshi, with rounds of 73 and 71, balanced her eagle on the Par-5 fifth with bogeys on the second and fourth, ultimately carding a 1-under 71 to tie for third place with Amandeep Drall (72-72). Ridhima’s lead of four shots appears significant, but there are eight players within three shots of each other trailing behind her.
Amandeep Drall’s promising day turned sour with a double bogey on the last hole, leaving her at even par for the second consecutive day after a strong start with four birdies. Amateur Lavanya Gupta faced a turbulent start but recovered impressively with a 70, featuring four birdies and no bogeys on the back nine, to tie for fifth place with Nayanika Sanga at 1-over 145.
Vani Kapoor, Saanvi Somu, and Sneha Singh are tied for seventh place with identical scores of 73 in both rounds. Amateur Janneya A Dasanniee, Rhea Purvi, and Lavanya Jadon round off the Top-10, all tied at 7-over 151. Last week’s winner, Jasmine Shekar, is currently Tied-17th with scores of 79 and 74. The final round will include 27 players after the cut fell at 159 strokes.
