Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, a beloved Bollywood couple, have worked together on several films like “Tujhe Meri Kasam” and “Masti.” Their latest collaboration is the upcoming historical drama “Raja Shivaji.” In this movie, Riteish directs and plays the lead role, while Genelia serves as the producer and portrays the character of Saibai.

During the trailer launch event of “Raja Shivaji,” actress Bhagyashree shared a heartwarming incident involving Genelia and Riteish. She recounted how Genelia, like the character Jijabai, fed Riteish on set when he was too engrossed in shooting to have his dinner. The film, written and directed by Riteish, is a cinematic retelling of the life of Shivaji, the Maratha Empire’s founder.

The star-studded cast of “Raja Shivaji” includes Riteish, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, and other prominent actors. Produced by Mumbai Film Company in collaboration with Jio Studios, the movie features cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Urvashi Saxena. The music for the drama is composed by Ajay-Atul.
