Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy emerged victorious in the 3rd Hockey India Sub Junior Men Academy Championship 2025 – Zone A & B held at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Hockey Ground in Surat, Gujarat. They clinched the title by defeating Army Boys Sports Company 2-0 in the final match, with goals from Ali Razzaq and Sanmukh Singh at 35 and 56 minutes, respectively.
In the battle for third place, Sail Hockey Academy secured a 7-0 win over Ritu Rani Hockey Academy. Arun Lakra scored twice, while Bikash Kaetha, Mohmad Shahid, Kailash Kujur, Milan Athokpam, and Malemnganba Akoijam also contributed to Sail Hockey Academy’s victory.
The semi-finals saw Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy and S.G.P.C. Hockey Academy advance to the finals after triumphing in their matches. Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy defeated Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy 8-1, while S.G.P.C. Hockey Academy secured a 2-1 win against Namdhari XI.
Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy is set to face S.G.P.C. Hockey Academy in the championship match on December 30, while Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy will compete against Namdhari XI for the third-place position.
