The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has provided relief to unemployed youth in Rajasthan by announcing the examination calendar for 2026 ahead of the New Year. The examination cycle will kick off on January 11 with the Deputy Commandant Exam-2025, followed by a series of recruitment tests throughout the year.
RPSC has proposed dates for 16 examinations scheduled between January and November 2026, with five additional dates reserved between April and December for future recruitment exams. The Commission aims for transparency and modernization by conducting various exams through computer-based tests, including the Lecturer (Ayurveda Department) Exam on January 12, 2026, and the Assistant Electrical Inspector (Energy Department) Exam on February 1, 2026.
Emphasizing the importance of early announcement, RPSC Chairman Utkal Ranjan Sahu stated that releasing the exam calendar in advance allows candidates ample time for preparation. The Commission’s commitment to conducting the 2026 examinations in a timely manner is evident from its track record of 100% compliance with the 2025 exam calendar.
The proposed 2026 calendar includes a diverse range of examinations such as the Assistant Engineer Combined Recruitment Main Exam in March, Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander Exam in April, and various other exams in the following months. RPSC plans to update the proposed dates based on recruitment advertisements and release detailed examination schedules as needed.
