Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed that amidst global challenges, India could effectively share the universal values of Sanatan Dharma worldwide. Speaking at an event in Tripura, he highlighted the significance of constructing temples as integral to societal enlightenment, emphasizing that devotion (‘bhakti’) is crucial alongside power (‘shakti’). Bhagwat cautioned against external forces disrupting India’s social harmony, emphasizing the nation’s unity in diversity as a fundamental strength.
Highlighting India’s rich cultural heritage, Bhagwat underscored the country’s potential to lead through the timeless values of Sanatan Dharma amid current global adversities. He praised initiatives promoting education and understanding, stating that India’s peaceful and harmonious ethos is increasingly sought after globally. The event, attended by dignitaries including governors and the Tripura Chief Minister, coincided with the celebration of Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti.
