Television star Rubina Dilaik has responded to queries and backlash regarding her daughters residing with her elderly parents in Shimla while she manages work commitments in Mumbai. In an exclusive chat with IANS, Rubina clarified remarks online suggesting that grandparents should focus on their own lives instead of caring for grandchildren.
She explained that both her parents and in-laws are eager to participate in raising the children. Rubina emphasized that her family disagrees with the societal notion that grandparents should retire and live separately, highlighting their willingness to support and be present for the kids.
Rubina shared that her mother has discovered a renewed sense of purpose in her senior years by nurturing her granddaughters. She expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from her family, especially her husband, Abhinav, who actively cares for their daughters, and her parents and in-laws who travel to Mumbai from Ludhiana to be with the children.
Acknowledging the crucial role her family plays in her life, Rubina emphasized that her achievements are a result of their support. Currently preparing for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 15 in Cape Town, South Africa, Rubina is away from her twin daughters for an extended period, underscoring the importance of her family’s backing.
