Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with PM Modi in New Delhi last month to discuss mutual interests, including regional issues like Ukraine and West Asia. PM Modi reiterated India’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy during the meeting. Lavrov updated PM Modi on the progress in bilateral cooperation since their last summit in December 2025.
