One of south India’s top music directors, S S Thaman, has lauded the legendary music director Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja for establishing a new recording studio at the age of 77. Thaman referred to Ilaiyaraaja as “a living musical legend” and commended him as “a human who never gave up.”
Ilaiyaraaja recently marked five years since moving to his new music studio, as announced on his social media platforms. Expressing his gratitude, Ilaiyaraaja shared that he was close to completing his second Symphony, a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
Thaman, inspired by Ilaiyaraaja’s dedication, highlighted the maestro’s resilience and creativity, emphasizing the importance of learning from such a master in the music industry. Ilaiyaraaja, known for his groundbreaking achievements, including presenting a western classical symphony, continues to inspire and innovate in the world of music.
