Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia has called for a post-mortem of Warehousing Corporation officer Gagandeep Singh Randhawa’s remains at PGIMER or by AIIMS doctors to ensure fairness. He also urged the arrest of Laljit Bhullar’s father and assistant. Majithia praised the unity of Opposition leaders, Kisan organizations, and the Warehousing Corporation Union for leading to Bhullar’s arrest.
Appreciating the Randhawa family’s resilience against pressure from the AAP government, Majithia highlighted the case of alleged corruption involving Bhullar and AAP members. He emphasized the need for a CBI investigation, pointing out the negligence of certain officials. Majithia criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for delayed actions and welcomed the Union Home Minister’s support for a CBI probe.
Majithia questioned the government’s handling of the case, accusing it of protecting Bhullar and delaying his arrest. He called for the Chief Minister’s cooperation in a CBI inquiry, noting the Opposition’s push for transparency. Highlighting the AAP MPs’ reluctance to support a CBI probe, Majithia underscored the need for an impartial investigation.
